I spent 18 months in South America during the fake pandemic and was travelling solo. Even though I got a lot of warnings before I went, I never had a problem. Even though I was by myself, getting around a lot of the time by walking (I am Irish, we love to just stroll about), and was often intoxicated. That said, I am 6'6" and close to 200lbs, and in good shape, with plenty of street smarts. That said, I went with zero Spanish and it was the best adventure ever. I would be glad to give you any tips I can provide.

I’m guessing trying to find someone local there to hang with would be the ideal thing to do, did this in Thailand and found a girl who showed me all the best places etc. my only concern in Colombia would be getting “scoped” heard horror stories but unsure on the validity of the claims.

This is a message to nobody in particular. Just because you're a white or black foreigner in Colombia doesn't mean you'll get hotter girls than you do at home. So if a girl is too hot for you, that should be a red flag.

There are a shitload of sex tourists in Colombia already so if these hot girls wanted a one-off bang with a foreigner, they've probably already done it.

Try not to be naive, also, try to enjoy travelling rather than just trying to smash random foreign girls.

I agree with every part but the first paragraph. I wouldn't consider a girl being smoking hot and interested in me as a red flag, and I would neuter myself in the face of all the best opportunities if I thought like that. It is obviously wise to take great care, but if you have a level of street smarts and good social skills hopefully you are not too much of a dupe. Ran into a few dodgy beeshes last time, but when I got the sense I didn't like them I would just bail on them without warning, or get them to leave.

I am not a 'sex tourist', but sex just kind of happens if you are out in the world having a good time and not socially inept or hideously ugly. Heh

Ya in Thailand I had no problem whatsoever with women, infact I was overrun lol. Before going people told me majority of the women are escorts or whatever but to my surprise it was the opposite, didn’t even need to buy them dinner and even had one of them giving me lifts in her car lol. I’m sure South America is a completely different kettle of fish to Southeast Asia, but having a local girl/friend to show you the spots and avoid tourist traps sure does help. It was the getting “scoped” stuff that proper freaks me out, anyone seeming friendly could get you with it girl or not

You have done Thailand that's some achievement in itself I was shitting myself when I went to Ecuador. I went UK to Madrid then rocked up to my flight to Quito only English speaking person on the flight You just have to take that leap of faith. By all means put things in place flexi flights etc so if u do really hate it u can change your plans but just go for it. I had zero plan for Ecuador yet spent 30 days there was taking Internal flights taxis buses ferries. You just have to back yourself and I'm telling u m8 u will come out the experience a better person. I was so shy before starting travelling on my own but u make friends and u have insane experiences.

Trust me I hit 40 this year. And I'm 78 countries but I was like wish I had done this in my twenties. Just go and live your life and explore the world. 👍👍

When I go to Colombia I want to meet a normal girl. I dont want to meet escorts or party sluts. Because sex tourism is so rampant (and my spanish is poor) perhaps it might be difficult for me to discern between civilians and escorts? Probably a stupid questioin, but what percent of 8-10s are escorts? Any tips on meeting a nice normal girl?

No idea to be honest mate, I'm in a long term relationship so it's not my area. I'd assume that the % is very high though. I'd also be very surprised if the girls you meet on Tinder or whatever actually speak English there.

Yeah I agree, but if you're not getting hot girls at home, let's be honest, it's gonna be only a slight increase away from home too - if at all.

There will be (and are) some absolute gimps flying to Colombia because they've seen videos about how girls love gringos or whatever, assuming they'll just get 10s falling for them. I'd just hope most people have a bit of common sense, and be vigilant with these scopo girls and so on.

Brother, if you want to meet a nice girlie: you need to cater your strategy to suit that. What is your current modus operandi as far as finding, or generally engaging with, the ladies? What are you means of seeking and finding? It is relatively easy to avoid skanks and hos, but not if you are depending on Tinder hook-ups or picking-up girls at duh club.

I am from Ireland. I am not sure if you know what the culture is like here now, but as healthy male-female dynamics... we are probably one of the worst in all the Western world; at least as far as my standards go. I tend to revert to monk mode when I am here now, as trying to pick-up ladies randomly is more fraught with potential social faux pas due to unrealistic standards held by mostly neurotic feminists. Not that they are all bad, but between the fattiest, feminists, and women that have a massively over-inflated sense of self-worth: I don't even bother.

Everywhere else I go, I slay. :) And, yeh... there are some total gimps out there making everyone else look bad. heh

Just booked to go and visit Philippines Bali and Cambodia. The internal flights in the Philippines are so cheap cannot wait.

Currently on a 4 day weekend getaway in Vegas. My first legitimate solo travel to another state. So far so good just trying to pace myself because there is so much to do and so much to drink. Vegas for the most part is safe on the strip just pay attention to your surroundings as always. Off the strip gets sketchier with less police presence and more shady individuals. Can’t wait for my passport to come in to check out other countries.

Nevada nice 1 whenever I travelled to the US I loved to visit different US states. I'm currently blacklisted until I either make a appointment at the US Embassy or get a new passport.
