Preparation for arabic/african countries: Learning new languages

I am Chicago University student studying computer science, currently planned to go do advanced research abroad in Europe (5 months starting January 2025). While I’m out there I plan to do a little bit of backpacking and exploring but of arabic/african countries. Specifically I plan on going to Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, and possibly Syria.
I’m fairly confident in my traveling skills, but my biggest concern is the language barrier. What are some ways or advice that you guys have on learning such languages such as Arabic. Especially distinguishing between different dialects. Platforms, study habits, other ways to prepare myself for this travel, are all things I’m looking for because I really want to be able to communicate with the locals and people around me.
